Mike Malloy - Hillary Clinton Dodges On Glass-Steagall

Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Clinton on Thursday declined to endorse legislation championed by Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) that would break up big banks.

Warren and other liberals — including Clinton's 2016 primary opponents Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) and former Maryland Gov. Martin O'Malley — are pushing to reinstate legislation that former President Clinton repealed in 1999 called Glass-Steagall.

Earlier this month, Warren reintroduced a bill that would require banks to divide their commercial and investment banking.

We can't do that because it is more complicated than that...in fact what they are saying is we can't do anything because it will mess with the money game they are playing.

It's bullshit people, pure bullshit.

Then there is self realization. Do I vote for someone who is against my best interests on the premise that the alternative is worse? It's rough on those of us who have been damaged by the idea banking, investments, and insurance should not be separated so some people could make some money on Wall Street. I understand why some don't vote anymore.

As he ruthlessly deconstructs Hillary Clinton! If only more people would wake up, smell the coffee, and follow the money! All the rest is just misleading patter, total BS!

So, it's just another political axiom or truism when you say that Hillary Clinton, or any other mainstream politician, will be true to their financial backers, come hell or high water, no matter what they say, or how they try to obscure or pussyfoot around the issue, just as it's another political axiom in our crazy country that a religious conservative Republican legislator will, sooner or later, be caught with his pants down doing the very same thing that he was legislating against.

Surprised??? You shouldn't be.
