maybe see something creative done with it.

There is a better example of something in the middle of a modern city that hosts foreign navies from all over the world other than a monument to a set of ideals many of us don't subscribe to.

If the city won't move it soon, perhaps a couple of beach balls and some paint might cast it in a whole different light?
