There isn't a Carlin show I don't love. And I bet a whole ton of DC insiders watch them and go "yup - that's the way it is."
George had a way of popping balloons for all of us. I think he would take on our current group of presidential wannabes with a bunch of fun - they probably wouldn't think it was so fun.
Of course the old chestnuts of "holier-than-thou" charlatans being caught up in a web of sin (which they define); this is prime material for any comic. Too bad so many stoopid people send their meager pittances to these.
