The number of Syrian refugees that are trying to make it to the EU is rising fast. What is more surprising though is where they are not trying to go. They are not headed to the Gulf States because those countries are refusing to let any of them in. Cenk Uygur and John Iadarola (Think Tank), hosts of the The Young Turks, break it down. Officially, Syrians can apply for a tourist visa or work permit in order to enter a Gulf state.

1. They've got a long history of not taking care of their own

They also refused entry to Palestinian Arabs who fled after the partition of Israel.

2. They're already spending billions supporting the humanitarian mission of ISIS/AQ

The Saudis, Qataris and other Gulf Cooperation Council states know their priorities. They demand more bang for their petrobuck than feeding a bunch of women, kids and non-belligerents. It's hard-headed business sense.

3. the Islamic world does not seem to be concerned about this. or ISIS for that matter. maybe the gulf

states could take in Syrians in replacement of the masses of wage slave Filipinos and south asians. after all, the more desperate people are the more they can be abused by the corporatocracy and ideologues
