It is the same reason all of us stay away from it, because of the social pressure that comes down on us if we do speak about it.
It is the same pressure Orwell explained in 1984 that caused people to believe the chocolate rations had been increased, even though they knew it had been cut...but were afraid to say it.

He has been continually marginalized because of his "crazy" tendency to go directly to the moral cusp of an issue.
If you will bother to read (for example) "The 9/11 Commission Report: Omissions and Distortions," you just might come to conclude that Mike is not as "crazy" as you think he is.

It's all junk science and twisting facts to fit a tin foil hat narrative.

Bush and Cheney were awful and exploited 9-11 to a sickening extent, but there's no credible evidence of a conspiracy, which would have to be absurdly large, that they faked the whole thing.

Also, I had a friend, a young doctor, who was on the plane who hit the Pentagon. If the hoaxers are right with their kooky theory that a missile hit the Pentagon instead of a plane, then, please, do tell me where my friend has been all these years.

I didn't hear Mike say anything about a missile; in fact he said he was convinced a plane hit the pentagon.

None of it had to do with your friend the young doctor. Sorry to hear of his passing. I was lucky, I have a cousin who was late for work that day and wasn't in the towers when it happened.

All Mike said was he doesn't accept the official story. I don't know why you'd call that irresponsible.

Maybe you have more reasons I don't know about. Otherwise I see your opinion against his. That cannot be conclusive, sorry.
