We were great once
We are not great anymore
We can be great again

That was Mussolini's exact platform.

Schmidt actually gives credence to Trump's secret plan to defeat ISIS once he has been elected - I simply cannot wrap my head around an intelligent individual talking about Trump and not bursting into laughter

precisely because of people like Trump, and more importantly the people who believe in him and people like him. Blind faith in business leaders is one of our major shortcomings...it's part and parcel of the self-help craze...we are a country full of people who believe in believing in things, as opposed to using logic and reason and empiricism. Neoliberal economic policies are a belief system...no matter how many times they have been exposed as failures, the leaders tell us, "if only you would keep believing, it will work out" and instead of seeking alternatives, people just keep believing...

He is full of himself and is clueless. He says that he is rich and has a plan to everyone rich. Well, this the way all GOP people want, make the rich richer and in the end what is left of middle class, will be destroyed, completely.
