Today in Madison, Wisconsin, Ed Schultz stepped to the microphone and delivered a ringing endorsement for Bernie Sanders. This video is the last 11 minutes or so of his speech to Bob Fest.

(39,215 posts)is known and willing to speak out. MSNBC did cut him off because of it but I think eventually there will be better things.

(39,909 posts)No.
That is how the NeoLiberals and NeoConservatives work with Super Pacs and Dark Money.
Bribery is just SOP with them.
They have done it for so long, they no longer see it.
It is one of the issues Bernie Sanders, and Ed Schultz, stand publicly against...Bribery in politics.
Ed Schultz has been supporting these same Working Class/Pro-LABOR issues since I started listening to him broadcast out of North Dakota. Bernie doesn't have to bribe Ed Schultz to do what he has been doing regularly for at least 10 years.

(3,544 posts)Ed, just like so many more of us, have this strong passion with Bernie.
Regarding Cheney, "can you believe they gave that son of a bitch a new heart"? He never had one to begin with!! Best line in the presentation.

(23,156 posts)I never did watch him enough when he was on MSNBC (no TV, and even though they streamed his show a couple of hours after it was broadcast, I just didn't get around to watching often enough).
It is sheer joy to see him so energized over Bernie.

(15,099 posts)Used to listen to him on the radio. How about making him Secretary of Labor in Bernie's Cabinet?
I just signed up to attend my first Bernie Volunteer meeting on Wednesday night. Very excited to get involved. Maybe it's a good thing that I had to retire.

(10,495 posts)when something would happen. Ed called him one day last Spring not long before he was let go telling him he was going to do a show on the gulf about the health of the Gulf waters 5 years later. When he and his producers came down we had several clients lined up for him to meet to explain how corrupt and screwed up the Class Action Settlement was and how they are all still waiting 5 years later. Ed thought like most people that BP settled all of the claims with a 20 billion dollar fund. Once he found out that was not true he did a full week of stories. We warned him that BP was the biggest advertiser on the Gulf and one of the biggest nationwide, he might get some pushback from MSNBC. He said I can do what stories I want and I will not be censored. He knew it was a risk, but he knew it was right! Once he backed Bernie so strongly they cut him!
This is a dirty war and our side hasn't known they were at warn due to the disinformation campaign waged by the media oligarchy. Bernie has vowed to clean this up too. This is not just an election, this is a fight for our very Democracy! Which side are you on? Sitting on the sidelines is the same as siding with continued corporate control.
