1. Plenty of factual statements and worded and delivered temperately. Well done, all around.

...to look back and see how the Republicans painted themselves in a corner. It took at least fifty years of protectionist tactics, which were meant to resonate with their voters. But, each time they targeted a minority demographic in order to galvanize their voters, they cut themselves off from a potential voter group. Year after year, they came out with the soundbites: welfare queens, immigrants from Latin America, gays, Liberals...until the day they looked around and found themselves in the minority.

I bet they still can't figure out what happened.

5. First we went after the welfare queens, and we did speak out . . .

First we went after the welfare queens, and we did speak out -- because we did not want them in our party.
Then we took off on the gays & the rest of their ilk, and we all spoke out -- because we didn't want them in our party.
Next we castigated the Libtards & their others, and we did speak often -- because they never were in our party.
The Hispanics were next, and we all chimed in, because we never liked them -- they would ruin our party.
And we have a whole raft of others we intend to drive away soon -- because, this is our party.
Then there won't be anyone left, because we'll all pass soon -- but what an exclusive club was our party!

Let them sink into oblivion like the Whigs.

I'm just trying to stop the Dems from constantly trying to meet them halfway to oblivion.
