Although he is 65 and maybe figures it's time to retire. I always thought some politicians stay too long anyway.

The last three or four years have really taken a toll on Boehner.

One thing I have to say about Boehner: I've always thought that he has the most beautiful eyes.

He's been an empty suit; the teabaggers and their freaky friends have routinely run over him, then backed up and run over him again. He couldn't organized a pizza/kegger in a college dorm.

he was the finger in the dike holding back the flood?

Given the the "freaky friends" who "have routinely run over him, then backed up and run over him again," I'm hoping that the next Speaker is either not able to do any better than Boehner or that he can tone them down considerably. My expectations, though, are not hopeful. Because I suspect that we are in for some seriously bad times for the country in the House -- Those "freaky friends" are very scary.

If the freaks win, whoever they put in place will be a doormat who'll make Boehner look like Sam Rayburn or he'll be Head Freak.

Two heart beats away
