1. We're becoming an international pariah the way South Africa was during apartheid. Good.

If international pressure is what it takes, I say bring it on. We who aren't listened to by our government need help.

It would be one of the best things that could happen. Clearly, the United States is incapable of dealing with this problem on its own.

Sad that it's come to this, but it has.

Mr. or Ms. Cantbeserious, you have a way with pithy sayings, and I mean that sincerely. You're very good at summarizing key points in memorable phrases. Kudos.

I have considered moving to another country when it's time to retire. That's a long ways off, so far, but it's something I think about. I would move now, but I can't afford it.

There are days I would love nothing more than to move somewhere where guys like Scott Wanker or Princess Dumbass of the North Woods are little more than nasty rumors.

What does it say about this nation that they put dollars before the safety of their own citizens?

It's a polite way to give you cover, if you so choose, to hide the fact that you are from the U.S. We are squandering a deep and abiding love for the U.S. in Oz that was galvanised in WWII. But the U.S. is like some drunk, rich uncle who stumbles into the middle of a friendly BBQ, showing everyone his new gun and threatening the neighbours...generally taking over the conversation and making everyone uncomfortable. Aussies are concerned for your health (our economy is still tied to the U.S. though China is the inevitable and most influential partner), and the immediate danger you represent to Australian regional relationships and the world in general. And the Bogans here don't need any encouragement from those Tea party Yank Wankers.

Be sure to remove the asterisk I added into the URL. (I added it so that the video woundn't embed in this post.)

It's an unlisted YouTube video, which is why it isn't turning up on a search.

Hope this helps.
