Related: About this forumWhat the hell is wrong with the NRA? This.
The more you hear from the NRA it becomes clear that they are as dangerous as any other terrorist organization. Their beliefs are so extreme, and their paranoia so deep, they threaten everyone.
This lady at Home Depot
These fuckers at a restaurant.
And here too.
And this nut job.
Eventually, it all ends up here.

(1,074 posts)And, I bet these are the same people who if they saw a black man carrying a gun in an open carry area, they would be screaming for the hills!

(2,750 posts)If I was in any establishment and these assholes walked in like that, I'd be gone. They would have to change their policy before I would return. That is so disgustingly ugly I can't even find the words.
Who wants to sit in a restaurant trying to enjoy a meal with this shit around them? These buffoons could and will have accidental discharges. Just wait....

(4,033 posts)If I am in any establishment and someone walks in carrying a gun, I leave. Middle of grocery shopping? Leave the card in the aisle. Having dinner out? Get up and leave, to hell with the check. Looking for a part at Home Depot? Leave in the middle of a conversation with the clerk.
See, I don't belong to the NRA, so I don't have their Secret Decoder Goggles, so I can't tell the difference between a good guy with a gun and a bad guy with a gun. So, I see a gun in a public place, I vacate, post haste. And then I email Corporate and let them know that I won't be shopping there anymore, since I value my live more than they value my patronage.

(11,012 posts)Have to wonder what in the world makes these guys think it is appropriate to carry huge fire arms into a family restaurant in the first place. These are not weapons of self defense. They are meant to intimidate.
I was just saying to my husband, before I read your post, if I'm ever in a restaurant and people come in "open carrying," I'll tell the server, manager, or whomever, that they can tell those people to leave, or I'm outta there and won't be back... and telling others too.

Let these morons get detained for an hour.

(2,750 posts)I'll do that.
Thankfully, I don't see this often. I did see some clown walking around in a convenient store with pistols strapped to his belt. He looked like a walking American flag with his hat and shirt. It would've been nothing for the right person to take those pistols and blast his fucking head off and the rest of the store with him.
Completely irresponsible

(18 posts)Because that's what you got there. That top left newspaper cover of the Daily News falsely reported that the Navy Yard shooter used an AR15. But he didn't. He used a shotgun. They ran with the story as fast as possible and plastered it all over the front page. But they were completely wrong.

(5,954 posts)and try to intimidate him. THIS guy show us how to treat these nutbags. I wish just 1/10th of the clowns in Washington could show this kind of guts. (And, ironically, after this the famous "guns for everyone" Texas legislature passed a law making the Texas capitol building a 'gun free zone.' F-ing hypocrites.)
