Related: About this forumI was on my way to bed, but
just had to check reddit for anything funny that would let me go to bed in good humor
And this is what I found. I don't think I've ever seen anything this funny in a long time. This dog and his love of Bolt is just too cute!
No wonder, he's a Belgian Malinois...they are super smart dogs. My sister has one. And I have a dog that does that "grab things when excited" routine. It's pretty funny...sometimes he just grabs at grass because he's excited to be walking outside.
OK, so now I'm off to bed. Enjoy everyone!

(111,383 posts)HRH, my old cat, loved Maru videos, would sit in my lap transfixed by the screen. She was usually uninterested in visual stuff she couldn't smell, but I honestly think the old girl was in love.

(8,175 posts)He's eight years old and I hope he lives to 20 at least. He is one of the coolest cats I've ever seen.

(111,383 posts)The introductory video is hilarious and by the end of it, they were best of friends.
In 2014 after the big quake, people all over the planet deluged his person with notes of concern, that cat has millions of followers over on You Tube and Twitter. I just found it hilarious that my old lady cat would park in my lap with her face close to the screen for Maru videos. She wasn't interested in anything else.

(20,591 posts)wonder how many times the dog has seen the movie because he sure seems to know the sequence. All those dog toys are a crackup too.

(5,141 posts)He's a lab mix, and any depiction of a dog of any kind--even a crudely drawn semblance of one--will elicit this exact response. Our other dog basically rolls her eyes and goes back to sleep.
I'll have to try an old Wallace and Gromit video and see if he can anticipate Gromit's appearance.
He also barks at horses on telly; I think this may be owing to an incident when he was a baby when we were walking at Rockefeller Park which is a regular haunt for carriage enthusiasts. The sudden appearance of a coach and four propelled him into my arms, shaking and whining. Poor puppy was traumatized and now tries to bite the horses through the screen. This is a bit of an issue as I like to watch costume dramas and history documentaries which are chock full o'equines.
The cats are not amused.

She was a rescue from one of DUer MiniMe's foster litters. (Pet Group)
Labs are wonderful dogs.

(5,141 posts)we got ours at 8 weeks old from an organization called Homeward Bound, founded by some University of Mississippi Vet students from the northeast who recognized that there were LOTS of puppies down there and not so many up north (everyone wants a pup - the only reason I did was because I wanted the little scamp to know his place vis a vis the cats) so they put them on monthly bus trips to northeast. Out of 250+ (yes! That many unwanted puppies!) our Django was the last puppy available (black dog syndrome) and he is so sweet and smart and just the happiest boy you could ever meet. He loves everyone! But he thinks hes a lap dog which is adorable until he puts all 102 pounds on your lap.
My last 2 labs lived into their mid-teens so knock wood, yours and mine (now 5) will be around for a long time!

(631 posts)He wrestled the villain to the ground (his chew toy) at each appearance.
Smarter than the GOP in the way he distinguished between his hero Bolt and the villains.

(9,958 posts)That's so funny! He apparently recognizes Bolt as a dog (and one that he likes).
Look at all those toys. Shake it! Shake it 'til it's dead!
My Belgian sheepdog, Rose, does that with travel pillows. (She carries them from room to room, drops them on the floor, and then lies down on them.)
