Over the past several weeks, Jeb Bush has had his hands full with 2016 Republican front runner Donald Trump. It seems that every time the two step up to the plate to bat, Donald always ends up batting at a higher average. And now, Jeb is in full hazard mode, trying to do everything he can to salvage the Bush name.
Ring of Fires Farron Cousins and Sam Seder discuss this.

(27,315 posts)Trump is given a pass by the media (including progressives). If he was held to the same standard as Bush or even better Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama, we would judge him as out of touch.
Like this morning, when he said he had a difficult start, because his father loaned him 1 million dollars. Had Bush said that (or Clinton or Obama, assuming their parents had that type of money), the media would be in harm and saying he was totally out of touch (which he obviously is). But as it is Trump, it will probably be forgotten.
As for Bush not going to at least Florida, this is not happening. But the media have their little narrative and it does not matter if it is true or not (see Biden and Maureen Dowd).
