He had GUTS! A real hero! I also think that his struggling for so many years allowed him to empathize with "regular" folks. He lived out of his car for Christ sake!

I forgot the role he played but I remember wanting to see it so bad because I was truly a fan of his. I also saw the taping of "Carlin on Campus" which was done at UCLA.
But I still have an addiction to seeing Bill And Ted's Excellent Adventure because George was in it.
