First, from 1976, David Bowie's first film, The Man Who Fell to Earth. Here's the trailer.
Second, Canadian astronaut Chris Hadfield's rendition of Space Oddity recorded and filmed from the International Space Station. And yes, they have a guitar there. Too bad there's no grand piano or harpsichord. I guess they did not meet the weight limits.
Well, here is the best tribute to David Bowie I could find. It's from fucking outer space!

I think I'm fairly up to snuff on Pink Floyd, but had no idea Bowie did this with Gilmore.
