(26,259 posts)Here is a clip of the statement released by Congressman Dan Kildee:
Todays statement by Governor Rick Snyder that he is treating Genesee Countys outbreak of Legionnaires disease 'with the same urgency and transparency as the lead response in the city of Flint is outrageous. The states response to the Flint water crisis continues to be inadequate and the people of Flint deserve a response that meets the severity of the situation.

(402 posts)Rachel Maddow did a story last night about the schools being in such horrible shape in Detroit, that children are having to wear coats in the classroom because they are so cold. The gymnasium floor in one school is covered with mold and is warped from water leaking from the roof so that the PE classes have to run or walk the halls for exercise. The gym is unusuable. This man has done nothing to make things better for the people of Michigan, in fact, they sure seem to be a LOT worse that before he took office. He should be in jail.

(5,902 posts)As long as we let big media frame the discussion, all is lost - and that's just the way degenerates like Snyder like it.

(24,695 posts)back in the day if you threw out your oil , anti-freeze, into a water drain and got caught they hauled you off to jail.
I remember a time if you threw your garbage, beds, sofa's, anything for that matter out along the road they fined you and threw you in jail.
But to deliberately and maliciously to know that the water you were giving to people was contaminated and poison with lead prior to the event, because there are records that showed that this source of water was BAD and to know and do it anyway for the simple fact of saving moola is unconscionable .
But lets not forget these quotes from business model former CEO of Gateway Rick Synder:
I'm a proud Republican - there's no issue with that at all, so why can't I be a proud Republican and just try to solve problems?
But as a practical matter, Detroit's the sports city in the country.
So if you want great sports, Michigan's the place to be.
I'm very proud of the auto industry in Michigan.
And now there are reports that Legionnaires disease from the possible use of the water resulting in 10 deaths and numerous becoming sick
This is possible criminality from the legislature, city manager, courts, Michigan EPA :
