but fear things changing for the worse. It's kind of the "the devil you know" type thing. Ultimately, they don't want to lose their retirement savings and think she'll protect them, that her coziness with Wall St. and other richies in her circle is a plus.

I don't think these supporters would articulate it this way, so they settle for the, "It's time for a woman president," meme.

These aren't the supporters that Cousins is citing. These supporters aren't the ones who'll actually benefit from her policies.

That's what I think.
