(283 posts)The expression super-predator precipitated a whole host of draconian policies aimed at black and brown children. Even absurd things like not allowing particular colors in elementary school classrooms (in LA County). It became so absurd that killer bees became a stand-in for black and brown youth and the metaphor was not disguised.

Looks like wherever this was held it was a pretty swanky place...long spiral staircase and all, probably not a middle class establishment, so I assume from the reaction they certainly didn't expect anything like this. It also appears as though all the diversity in the room exited with the BLM protester.
