this will turn into a bloodfest, and that is why I don't think they'll do it quite that way. I bet they pick his VP and then plan to impeach him out if he makes it to the Oval Office, using their strength in the House and 2/3'ds support in the Senate
Much easier to force a VP pick (as was no doubt done to John McCain with Palin over threats to force her on him if he didn't outright pick her himself to save face) than to try to disrupt their convention.
Trump would never see it coming.

I am nearly 100% sure that Christie's "I smell poo/I'm a hostage" face was him trying to tough out the humiliation of endorsing Trump b/c Christie thinks as the VP running mate, he'll be behind the big desk in the Oval Office within months of Trump being sworn in.
