I am going to post this rather clever anti-Trump song/video by the Blue State Cowboys, BUT

I am also including a huge TRIGGER WARNING, because the video includes images of lynching victims (from 1:40-1:44), as part of its condemnation of the Trumpeters' perception of what constitutes "greatness" in America.

The point of such images in the video, which includes many other images of injustice and oppression (but no others as hideous as those), is that America of the past was not "great" for a lot of people, and it was hell indeed for quite a few.

So here is the song and video, but please don't watch it--or at least skip from 1:39 to 1:45 to avoid those images--if you would find such images unbearable, because they are truly hideous ones, not the kind made vague by distance.

(BTW, this group, headed by Matt Farmer, has a bunch of progressive songs satirizing the RW and its politicians.)

..this one. Photos of lynchings are hard to stomach, and it was nice to be fore-warned. Thanks.

even though I have seen such images frequently while researching the topic of racial oppression and lynching in the US. But those come so suddenly and are so close up that I felt it would be wrong to spring them on anyone without warning.
