Obama's TPP Disaster

No more bad trade deals that don't have any labor protections. No consumer protections. No environment protections. No democracy or accountability. No human rights protections. Enough is enough.

When President Obama supports crony-capitalist trade policies like the Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement, he forces me to use sad emoticons.

This trade policy is an attack on the American people and on working people everywhere.

I guess it's now obvious why there has been unprecedented secrecy of these negotiations.

3. Reportedly, the Chamber of Commerce is for this. As is Rmoney. Maybe, to be good Democrats,

we should support this as well?

Trans-Pacific negotiations have been taking place throughout the Obama presidency. The deal is strongly supported by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the top lobbying group for American corporations. Obama's Republican opponent in the 2012 presidential elections, Mitt Romney, has urged the U.S. to finalize the deal as soon as possible.
