(58,648 posts)the Constitution says nothing about the qualifications of the candidate the Pres nominates.
There have been justices with very little or no history on the bench.
I'm not sure that's the best way to use Al's talents, but I suspect he'd be a good one. He would certainly do wonders on environmental issues.

(9,314 posts)I didn't even know he had published a book entitled The Future. I love Al Gore. I have an autographed copy of An Inconvenient Truth. I had heard him speak and gone to one of his book signings. I followed his political career forever....

(7,394 posts)Al Gore is still President-Elect, and will forever remain so, because I don't think the crime that robbed him of his terms and robbed the nation of its soul will ever be expiated.
So he will always remain the first Forever President-Elect Of the United States Of America.

(3,947 posts)He was said to be a "corporatist", a "clintonite"' "in the pocket of big business", and we were told " there's not a dime's worth of difference between Al Gore and George Bush".
Turns out there was a big difference.
Just sayin'
