"The Long-Shot Candidate"

Enjoyed this short clip of recent American history -- when the young people stirred something deep in this country and took a long-shot candidate to the top.

At the DNC Winter Meeting in D.C. - "....most of those in attendance were already committed to either Hillary Clinton or John Edwards, and Obama's candidacy was not-yet taken seriously, at least by the Party establishment."

They didn't drag out the hoary old "Clinton scandals" from Karl Rove's closet, give them a fresh coat of paint & try to pass them off as new. They didn't treat Richard Mellon Scaife as a political prophet. And they didn't let Glenn Beck set the tone of the Democratic debate.
