(704 posts)If I want serious news or information I go to the internet to find reliable sources or get a book on a particular subject.
John Oliver does a better job than the actors on CNN or MSNBC. This is not by accident. It's a combination of media agendas and ratings chasing.
I can't put on the news for more than a few minutes and then I have to turn it off. I even talk to guys I work with who aren't close to politically driven as me and they complain about the same things.
It's a bunch of talking heads blowing smoke up each other's asses.
Useless.

The everything-for-profit model is killing the world.
