(4,234 posts)This is the modus operandi of the MSM. If your henchmen mis-judge and lie in their haste to smear somebody who might make it hot for you and your billionaire friends, be sure to keep harping on a point that has been repeatedly disproven, hoping that the person you are interviewing will not know about the facts (as proves to be true in this case since Merkley assumes the interviewer has done his homework).
The "facts" used by the reporters in the Daily News interview have been shown to be BS by Thom Hartmann and Juan Gonzales (of Democracy Now) and by many other economists who have looked at the transcripts. The interviewers at the Daily News kept confusing their facts about the role of the Fed in breaking up the big banks. Bernie's answers in that interview were true and consistent. The assumed "facts" of the interviewers were in fact lies.

But no, oh the hand-wringing... "how on earth could it be done?"
BS, BS, BS!!!!!!!!
Never mind that Bernie already has legislation written to do it.
Good grief!!!

(3,919 posts)senators merkley & sanders share many of the same views regarding the environment and social/economic justice and the push for jobs. very pleased to see his endorsement. courage is contagious!
unfortunately, our governor kate brown shares many of billary's skewed politics and is endorsing hillary - i.e. environmental issues and tiered pay that is not a living wage.
