(13,297 posts)egg'ing them on was poorly chosen sentiment, I adjusted my post as you are correct in calling it out

(8,175 posts)And I heard her say "shame on you" twice in that video, while throwing those kisses. Yes, she was egging them on. And she shook her finger at them (that was where Cenk thought she was flipping them off).
She was still trolling them...no fear...she had security all around her so she felt safe in doing so.
I think she might have been drunk or something.

(1,214 posts)I think she was their just to calm Sanders supporters. Why else would she be there instead of California or D.C.?
It's interesting to see how many Democratic Pols are more interested in propping up the Clinton "campaign". I have to go be what they're doing not what they've done.

Wow, I feel so much better now.

(15,643 posts)Who better to intentionally hit Berner hot buttons and then be the subject of their wrath than Boxer from that standpoint.
This whole event was planned. Bernie supporters are passionate; they knew they could push hot buttons and then claim violence.

(133 posts)Barbara Boxer: LIAR
Debbie Wasserman Schultz: LIAR
Claire McCaskill: LIAR
Roberta Lange: LIAR
Nevada Democratic Party: LIARS
All of the above publicly lied (Lange) or used "violence" in their hateful rhetoric or official complaints, to describe Sanders supporters. All are liars. The Nevada Democratic Party said that supporters "incited" violence.
And Hillary Clinton, who didn't dodge sniper fire in Bosnia, appears to sanction this rhetoric. I have not heard her apologize for her surrogates' smear-job of Bernie Sanders and his supporters.
This is what Americans are up against. This is why Americans will not turn out in great numbers in November if Clinton makes it that far. You can call voters lazy or stupid all you want, but they're fed up with this old-school style of toxic politics and toxic people.

(4,879 posts)I could add so much more, but you stated it well enough that I won't invite the pearl clutchers.
And if Clinton and her supporters want to do the right thing they will condemn those lies.
But I suppose that winning is too important to them and they think they can win by pretending those lies are the truth.
Moral breakdown on the left, just like the right.

(375 posts)But she was egging them on and rubbing their faces in fact that they were not going to be allowed to participate and that they could do nothing about it.
She was safe and she knew, she was not being threatened at all
It is outrageouse that she behaved in such a way and continued with this fraud that only belittles Sanders supporters during interviews afterward.
This is such a low.
She's going Barney Frank and Howard Dean.
I cannot believe the level once supposedly Progressive Democratic leaders have stooped to.
And they want us to believe they will represent the people they belittle and sell out.

(375 posts)her run against Carly Fiorina, she was seen as the mature and dignified one.
It turns out maybe not so much.
Now that she is about to retire and hit the big money lobbying circuit.
She can afford to act like the wealthy Carly

(12,882 posts)but "no different than Palin,"? At least Senator Boxer can use language coherently - even if when she does so she says the wrong things.
I do believe we're seeing the costume come off of the Establishment. The pitiful pretending is no longer swathed on to try an' cover the truth. Like a turd in the bowl - now that it's out, there's no masking the stink. And trying to blame it on others is futile. It's time for one GIANT flush.

Otherwise we agree on everything you said.

(6,278 posts)Shame on you and all the other Bernie supporters who could ever say such a thing.. Barbara Boxer has been far more liberal than Sander's all the years that she has been in the Senate. She has every right to support Hillary. I just switched from Bernie to Hillary over this absolutely blatant unrepentant misogyny, and I know a whole lot of other people who have reacted the very same way.
haikugal
(6,476 posts)liberal than Bernie, care to back that up? She has every right to support who ever she chooses, correct, but the process needs to be honored not perverted. I doubt you ever really supported Bernie if you can switch to Hillary so easily all while deluding yourself to believe making a remark about Barbara's behavior or Hillary's obvious corruption is misogyny...that's pathetic.
Tumbulu
(6,278 posts)and she has more than pulled her liberal weight. And she never wrote rape porn novels for fun, either. And she has supported real gun control, which Bernie never has.
And you think that people not registered as Democrats should be allowed into a Democratic Convention as delegates? What rules are you referring to?
Here is a good article on the misogyny that I sure see around these discussions:

(45,984 posts)the establishment -- the leaders of corporations, the leadership of both major political parties, major mainstream media outlets, Hillary Clinton herself, Donald Trump himself, and their donors and campaign organizations -- are corrupt, totally corrupt, conniving liars, irresponsible, unprofessional, undemocratic and totally unworthy of any position of leadership or responsibility in a democratic state. They should be removed from power immediately and replaced by a transparent, open, inclusive and democratic system of popular government.
Down with the Robber Barons! Power to The People!

(6,917 posts)To soften the image of an often-unlikeable Hillary Clinton, the campaign decided to make Bernie Sanders supporters appear violent. (yes, they actually used that word)

(50,983 posts)I couldn't be more disappointed in Boxer. I am shocked by her duplicity. However no level of duplicity by the media surprises me now. They are blatantly biased across the board.
Thank you, haikugal!
