Now, with the Dakota Access Pipeline posing a serious threat to the Standing Rock Indian Reservation, Chairman Archambault said during a press conference on Wednesday, August 17, 2016, he has asked the White House to intervene.

“I asked that if there is anything President Obama can to do intervene, please do it,” Archambault told reporters when asked by Native News Online during the question/answer period of the press conference.
