You know the way swimming pools smell that we always thought was the smell of chlorine?
I heard (I think on NPR) a few years back, that it is really the smell of chlorine reacting to the smell of urine in the water.

I swim in the fish toilet 4 or 5 times a week. its pretty diluted stuff and nothing compared to the nasties that humans dump in the ocean
