3. All this is laughable at best

They leave out the real reason for the cultural divide which is money in politics and the propaganda. The left, who is poor in comparison, will never gain on the corporate money that now runs our government. The only thing left now is for the USA to go so far down the toilet, for people to really starve, especially the boofs that voted for Trump thinking it will make anything better, that people will be forced to fight for survival. Until that happens, the downward spiral will continue for the bottom 90% of the country. They can have all the talking heads they want on teevee, but the media medication won't last forever. The rubber will hit the road someday. It's just too bad that humans keep making the same dumb mistakes over and over. The solutions could have be a lot less painless. This is all assuming the earth doesn't vomit us up before that.
