Not every skit in it is funny, but that was the way it has been from the beginning. We tend to remember only the good bits of old SNL eras, but I watched an SNL from the second year, and it was no better overall than today's SNL. In some ways, it was worse.

It was so good when I saw it as a kid and to this day I still remember it but was never able to find it. William Shatner was brilliant!
