9. I've been saying two things since Black Tuesday.

1. No president elected in my lifetime (and that includes Nixon) stood a greater chance of being forced out in disgrace before his term is up. I do take some comfort in that. I don't think his resignation before 2020 is necessarily likely, but I can easily see him becoming a serious liability to Republicans in congress.

2. Many (perhaps most) of the people who voted for him would regret their decision within a year or two.

Point number 2 may already be happening. He's causing international incidents before he's even taking the bloody oath of office, and at least some of the people who voted for him (or, in many cases, voted against Hillary) seem to be paying attention to how things are starting out.

I really don't have much sympathy for her. She may be incensed now, but that Trump has no business in the White House was plainly obvious to anyone who can read or write for a long, long time.
