How is this legal asking for cell phone passwords and viewing a persons personal data? Isn't that unlawful search?

9. "Isn't that unlawful search?" - No, for the same reason they can search your bags when you enter.

Note that the ACLU has sued over such searches in the past but have been largely unsuccessful in stopping them.
