....Oh yeah, here's some cloth with liquid on it, put it over his mouth and nose. How funny!

It's a hell of a story but the prank angle is stupefying.

IMHO, the reason they recruited a woman with a YouTube channel as TV producers was that they wanted to make sure they got video of the event to show to Kim Jong Un.





Given that the attack involved manually handling a deadly toxic agent, then it makes sense that the person recruited to do it did not know what they were doing.

She claims they did several dry runs with non-toxic materials.

I don't think the actions of any one of them are broadly representative of "people" generally.

I believe the press generally describes her as an "entertainment establishment employee", so the prospect of doing something less, um, strenuous for $100 sounds more like a rational economic choice.

any people involved that may have thought this was a prank.
Not a whole population.
Putting a cloth over anyone's face, let alone a strangers face (with or without a financial incentive) should be a red flag.
