I live in Mount Shasta, CA - a small community one hour south of the Oregon border. We are at 3500' elevation. Over the course of January, we got 6-7' of snow. Then in February, we got what feels like a foot of rain. It's been a remarkable Winter.

It was all of that snow, followed by all of the rain that has led to events such as Oroville - which is just a few hours south of here.

We had snow this week at the higher elevations and the mountain is absolutely caked with whiteness, all the way don and beyond the tree line. A big storm is due this weekend. Any nearby skiers should get up here.
