Protesters Call for Jeff Sessions Resignation
In a flash protest action organized by progressive activist collectives MoveOn.org and the Center for American Progress, about one hundred people gathered just outside the looming metal doors to the Justice Department on Pennsylvania Avenue around midday. Their message: “Perjury is a crime, Sessions resign” - and, in a co-opting of anti-Clinton at Trump rallies, “lock him up.”Protesters gathered outside the Justice Department demanding Attorney General Jeff Sessions resign, early Thursday, barely a day following revelations about his contact with Russian diplomats.
