Billionaire Bruce Rauner was elected in 2014 to "Shake Up Springfield!"
Rauner though he could do what Republicans Walker, Pence, and Synder did in surrounding states; break unions, destroy pensions, and pass massive tax cuts.
Unwilling to compromise with Democrats in anyway, Illinois has not had a budget in two years. The state loses $ 11 million dollars a day and CPS may have to end the school year three weeks early because they are broke.

We have some professional athletes here building affordable housing apartments and bringing in food markets and other stores to bolster the neighborhood. More money has been coming into their project from other donors, it is so inspiring!

Wow! I was just watching Chance today in the Version of the theme song of PBS kids Arthur, done by Ziggy Marley and Jon Batiste from Late Night with Steven Colbert. So sweet!
