He is refusing to see what the law is ultimately about-which is justice. He will be extremely dangerous on the court or will be isolated as a reliable anti-human vote.

5. What is truly amazing is that this right wing zealot, is suppose to follow the Constitution

so he sits there knowing that his fascist party broke every rule on following that Constitution and he has the audacity to sit there and basically break the rule of him sitting there and denying a former past president being denied his choice and a vote, and he wants US to obey his ruling, F.............that. And then they come on the good old TV and want everyone else to follow the rules, they can go F......................themselves .

I would have asked him what does Article II Section 2 paragraph 2 say: tell everyone in this room and across the country what it says, do you think your "party" follows rules, like a really BIG one? Give US answer?

To hell with decorum, I would have waited until he finished and then got up and walked out-----------this is just ABSURD, as Franken says

Here let me remind him:

"He shall have power, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate, to make treaties, provided two thirds of the Senators present concur; and he shall nominate, and by and with the advice and consent of the Senate, shall appoint ambassadors, other public ministers and consuls, judges of the Supreme Court, and all other officers of the United States, whose appointments are not herein otherwise provided for, and which shall be established by law: but the Congress may by law vest the appointment of such inferior officers, as they think proper, in the President alone, in the courts of law, or in the heads of departments."

4. Senator Al Franken is so much more!

Amazing that someone who earned our laughs and amusement has now earned my respect and admiration.

Senator Franken is a very brilliant and gifted man. Minnesota did the country well by sending him to the US Senate. I shake my head in grief to see what Kentucky, Arkansas, Louisiana, Georgia, Wyoming, and so many other states have done to disgrace the US Senate with their pathetic, crippling contributions.

Franken skillfully exposes the judge's bent, and it's clear he would be a regressive influence.

7. Damn he's good. Where does he get the optimism to go on...

in the face of such absurdity and idiocy all around him, with the Dems in the minority? It would cause me to sink into deep depression, I think, and give up. Yet there he is, and others, going after point after point, methodically, doing what they can.

Franken's the man.
