Correction:

The informal form of "Vladimir" is "Voya" or "Volodya."

"Vlad" is the informal form of "Vladislav."

Or so I am told by a Russian friend (in Russia).

However, in the US "everybody knows" that "Vlad" means "Vladimir."

Another "alternative fact," I suppose.

And yes, I have friends in Russia with whom I correspond.

Where do I turn myself in?
