Trump used the Republican party because they are the party of greedy robber barons like himself, and because he could use the angry and gulilble T-party haters with promises to fulfill the dreams of xenophobia hatred and good jobs. Establishment Republicans thought they could use him as a rubber stamp in the WH.

Remember when establishment Republicans like Rubio, Romney, Ryan, Christie et al flipped from being never-Trump guys to being luke-warm Trump supporters? These guys will flip just as easily when the investigation's proverbial shit hits the fan. The only question is which establishment pol will be the first to call for an independent prosecutor? I'm thinking Rubio - so he can masquerade for us as a man of honor.
