How quickly would Republicans have drafted impeachment papers and/or started the trial for treason? Would they have waited until the next day, or started a special session immediately?

One real bloody handed authoritarian to a wanna be.
Gut the 1st Amendment so brainless can sue publications over stories HE doesn't like? If that don't get it maybe imprisonment and, if necessary, summary execution will do the trick.

And our system of checks and balances are "archaic" so I suppose the Legislative and Judicial branches should be pruned so the Orange King can simply rule by fiat or decree, like he's run his scams for decades. It really is all about him.

This troublesome document was crafted by great men and impressed and inspired the world. And this silly, simple loathesome man thinks he can be rid of it by stamping his fat, flabby feet with their tiny, stubby toes and Voila! Problem solved.

in terms of confidence in Trump. I mean, you can't even crack jokes about this stuff, because the real thing is funnier than most stand-up comedians.

Every day it's something new from this crazy bag of water and meat trying to pass itself off as human.

And yes, it is scary.
