50% of US workers eaarn less than $25,000 a year, 40% earn less than $20,000 a year. Chuck could of mentioned devasting to the elderly, the disabled, children, and most families....heck, with caps everyone.

What is the Dem fixation with the term "middle class?". Wake up, a true middle class was last century and the word CLASS isn't classy...imo

Schumer goes straight onto the defensive and talks in incomprehensible 'senate' language and empty generalities, no specifics. Ended his incompetently messaged/framed blithering by promising "a bold Dem economic message sometime this summer" that's, in his opinion, supposed to fix everything. And who cares that he went to a Yankees game and sat next to a trump supporter?

Why in the world isn't even Schumer, a senior spokesperson for our Party, capable of delivering the facts on the GOPdeathcare bill when given 6.5 minutes of MSM time with the reliably superficial George S. Why haven't our Dem leaders learned how to control an interview, deliver facts and reality in staccato statements that pierce this smokescreen of crap the Repubs have created? This week the stakes are life and death for almost all Americans. Why isn't Schumer informing Americans that GOP care strikes down Obamacare's Employer Mandate; it's been the best kept secret that GOPcare doesn't just go after the working poor, the elderly and children, it ends the Obamacare requirement of Big employer provided insurance.

Instead of jumping onto the defensive from the get go, responding to George's idiotic opener of "Kelly Anne says..." Schumer should have easily grabbed the reins with, " Kelly Anne's is not the fact based or useful question here, George. The question to be asking is why are the Republicans hellbent on destroying healthcare for 98% of Americans? Why are they pushing through in 4 days this cruel and "mean" (in their own leader's words) bill. A bill that is so harmful to Americans that Republicans in both House and Senate have exempted themselves, these GOP lawmakers shamelessly insist on retaining Obamacare coverage for themselves at taxpayers expense. Why have they already refused to fund insureres promised monies in Obamacare in order to sabotage insurance markets? Why are they this week intent upon passing a bill that ends the employer mandate and puts everyone's coverage in jeopardy, not just those relying on the individual market or medicaid expansion. And for those employers who chose to provide insurance, this is a bill that allows employers to sewer shop policies across state lines, where policies are freed up to reimpose lifetime caps, price gouging deductibles and unaffordable rates for preexisting conditions, policies allowed to deny even basic benefits like hospitalization, prescriptions, any treatment they want to cut, charging women for birth control...those are some of the features on this GOP Bill that will menace Americans throughout their lifetime. By eliminating health sustaining coverage requirements, this delivers to Medicare a future stream of sicker, more expensive patients...thus destabilizing Medicare's survival for not just present but future generations. Add to that the slashing of Medicaid, which provides nursing home care for almost 2/3 of elderly Americans after Medicare's allowed days are exhausted, as well as essential coverage for the disabled and children, this bill is simply a human atrocity."

"The question to ask, George, right now with only 4 days to go until the Republicans push their atrocity through,, why is giving a trillion dollars to corporations, billionaires like their Koch Brother funders and millionaires like themselves... why is that worth harming
so recklessly and cruelly the other 98% of America?" Every American should be calling their Republican Senator and asking," why, why do you only want to make the richest richer by taking away the security and protections of adequate healthcare for me,my family and our future generations? Why aren't Senate Republicans trying to work with qualified, actually educated experts and with the Democrats to make improvements to Obamacare for everybody instead of blowing it all up to give a trillion dollars away to their donors and themselves?"
