Bio

Jesselyn Radack was the Justice Dept attorney who stood up for the Constitutional rights of John Walker Lindh, a young U.S. citizen captured in Afghanistan and widely denigrated as the “American Taliban.” Lindh became the first American to be tortured by Americans there. Radack revealed Lindh had not been allowed a lawyer and other rights. The Justice Department then made Radack a target of a criminal investigation and put her on the “No-Fly” List. She is now the Human Rights Director for the Government Accountability

The claim that "More whistle blowers have been charged during Obama admin. then all other presidents together" is patently false.

Moreover, if you do a quick Google search, you'll find that that it's a claim only repeated by fringe and conspiracy theory websites, including Free Republic, "NewWorldOrderWar," etcetera.

Will the attorneys of "American terrorists" also be considered terrorists because they're helping "terrorists"?

Whistle Blower Threatened with 35 Years in Prison, Warns of Developing Tyranny

Thomas Drake blew the whistle on a massive domestic information gathering scheme and was called "an enemy of the state"

Thomas Drake is the 2011 winner of the Sam Adams Associates for Integrity in Intelligence. Thomas Drake attempted to expose massive NSA mismanagement and the agency's use of a data collection program that was more costly, more threatening to American citizens' privacy rights, and less effective than a readily-available alternative. For his actions, Drake's house was raided, and he was subsequently charged under the Espionage Act, facing 35 years in prison.

Bio

Thomas Andrews Drake (born 1957) is a former senior official of the U.S. National Security Agency (NSA), decorated United States Air Force and United States Navy veteran, computer software expert, linguist, management and leadership specialist, and whistleblower. In 2010 the government alleged that he 'mishandled' documents, one of the few such Espionage Act cases in U.S. history. His defenders claim that he was instead being persecuted for challenging the Trailblazer Project.

Referring to the Bush Administration's use of phone companies to illegally spy on Americans:

''We only know these crimes took place because insiders blew the whistle at great personal risk ... Government whistleblowers are part of a healthy democracy and must be protected from reprisal.''
~ Presidential Candidate and U.S. Senator Barack Obama, 2008
