Chomsky as usual is exactly correct. And sadly, a lot of people are falling for the distraction.

The Paul Ryan republicans are going to make out like bandits because of trump. trump is the perfect distraction while they systematically dismantle every part of the government except those that make $$$ for the rich. And all they have to do is wreck it - they don't have to worry about the future, they just need time enough to put a brick on the accelerator pedal and jump off the train.
