...and this came during the years I had "authority" as a supervisor or manager, is that being "liked" or "admired" is often an illusion.

When you have "power," people sometimes fear you. They sometimes flatter you for the sake of their own potential gain. You always have to watch your back, because there are many, many knives in it that you can't always see, and many of them came from the same people who kissed your ass.

There are people who wandered into Trump's orbit who let him have their way with them. Perhaps they thought they would escape unscathed, perhaps they made the mistake of trusting him, perhaps they felt that someone with his "star power" wouldn't use them, abuse them, and discard them.

I live by the frog and scorpion principle. If you're a frog and you give a ride across the river to a scorpion on your back, you have to be prepared for what is waiting for you on the river banks.

The guy lacks a conscience, a soul, a heart, all of the things that are supposed to make us "human." Maybe one day he will find his humanity, especially if Robert Mueller illuminates the path.

You would think trumps look in the mirror in the morning would be a reminder not to comment on someone else's physical shape. Maybe the mirrors have been removed?

All of Trump's relationships are about his own vanity. Vanity says, "Get a woman as young as possible, as she is a status symbol."

He also might think that she has some super-natural sexual power that is capable of attracting such a fine younger man. He cannot understand either of the Macrons or their relationship.

My wife is 16 years older than I am. Older-younger relationships are a lot like any other types.

Two people meet. They have a little fun together -- kind of casual. Next thing you know, they are attached to each other emotionally, and don't give a damn what anyone else has to say about it.
