Rep. Steve King (R-IA) Defends Dog Fighting (VIDEO

http://www.addictinginfo.org/2012/07/31/rep-steve-king-r-ia-defends-dog-fighting-video/

If there is one thing in this country that is nearly bipartisan, or perhaps nonpartisan, it’s our love of animals and in particular, dogs. If there’s another thing we can all typically agree upon, it’s that pitting two innocent animals against each other and forcing them to fight to the death is downright inhumane. Rep. Steve King (R-IA) disagrees. He thinks that as long as we allow humans to fight, we should have the right to sit back, relax, and enjoy a good old-fashioned dog fight.

Boxers, Gladiators, they're pretty much synonymous, right? Muhammad Ali, like those dogs, was owned and said owners forced him to fight to the death for the entertainment of the masses. Must be the case, since boxing and dog-fighting are equivalent...

I think somebody has dreams of getting in on the ground floor of "Running Man Productions"....

IF his point were to agree that boxing is also abhorrent, I would agree with him. But I don't think that was his point.

He is an idiot and he did call animal rights groups out as dumb .... just asking. Boxing is a dumb 'sport' and 'ultimate fighting more so.
