Related: About this forumTYT: Obama's 'License To Kill' Being Questioned By Congress
"Congress is finally standing up to President Barack Obama on targeted killing. Almost a year after three American citizens were killed in US drone strikes, legislators are pushing the administration to explain why it believes it's legal to kill American terror suspects overseas. Congress is considering two measures that would compel the Obama administration to show members of Congress what Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) calls Obama's "license to kill": internal memos outlining the legal justification for killing Americans overseas without charge or trial...".* The Young Turks host Cenk Uygur breaks it down.

"A once-great American, Benjamin Franklin, once said:
They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety.
Interesting words, to be sure, but in today's post-9/11 world, the American People understand that we can't take chances.
And Franklin was a Leftist like Krugman and Dean and that crowd - heck, he started the bureaucrat-run US Post Office! And bureaucrat-run public libraries! What's more looney-left than that!
Think of what would have happened if we'd followed Franklin's unrealistic ideas back in the late 18th century. A dreamer, yes, but not a realist."*
*For the sarcasm-challenged: this is not an actual quote. By anyone.
