so that they can shoot back at a 32nd floor window and live out their wild west fantasies and really make America great again.

We can start profiling white males.

But mostly we can start asking inconvenient questions like is it physically possible for an elderly person to carry lots of heavy weapons and a thousand rounds of ammo and then handle a fully automatic machine gun by himself or if there is more to it. Like multiple shooters and careful planning of the logistics, transport, and aiming sight lines out of a high rise window.

Because if you think we're going to make any progress towards passing gun control, then please pass whatever you're smoking. We're more likely to get Trump to control his rage tweets. We should still try, by all means. But it is so frustrating.

is the fact that people keep saying, "if only people were armed, the shooter would not have been able to do this". Really? First to have prevented this, people in the targeted crowd would have had to be in possession of high powered rifles and secondly, people in the crowd were armed with pistols and they were ineffective in shooting back at a killer 32 stories up...improbable shot for a pistol....from my experience only...others may have a different view....

including some backstage staff with concealed carry. It was country music and it was Nevada. People have plenty of guns nearby even if the concert attendees were not allowed to have it in the venue.

There is not a damn thing anyone on the ground could do about sniper fire from 32 floors up inside a building.

The wild west fantasy would be: fictional terrorist was in the crowd and whips out a gun, then someone would be a hero and shoot him.

Compared to Trump - who has lived here for all of his 71 years.
