5. Neil Young Bought a Pan Flute That I Had Made

When I was a professional Pan Flutist with an Andean band in the San Francisco Bay area, I put a Pan Flute that I had made on consignment at Lark in the Morning, a store that specializes in ethnic and world musical instruments. The store owners told me that they thought that he was just a bum who had wandered in from the wharf until he pulled out his credit card to buy my flute. There were many other Pan Flutes for sale in that store that day, but being the consummate musician that he is, he recognized that mine was obviously the best. I'm a dogged perfectionist when it comes to making Pan Flutes, and have seen no Pan Flutes that I prefer to my own.
