It would be easy to claim the Democrats are stonewalling Trump because the Republicans stonewalled Obama for eight years. That's a small part of it, but it goes much deeper.

The main reasons we're not giving Trump everything he wants, exactly the way he wants it:

First, many of the things he wants are unrealistic. A prime example is his wall. Building a wall the entire length of the Mexican-US border, even if we could afford it - even before the tax cut he insists be implemented as is, we can't afford it - technical issues alone prevent doing it. And speaking of the tax cut, that's even more infeasible.

Second, there are things he wants that will kill people, like his Obamacare repeal-and-replace-if-we-feel-like-it plan.

Third, his entire presidency seems more like a performance art piece intended to punish the Democratic party for having the temerity to support a man who said bad things about Donald Trump at the White House Correspondents' Dinner. Seriously, folks, has the man suggested doing ANYTHING besides cutting his own taxes, closing the borders and reversing the Obama presidency?

Last, and least but not by much, is the undisputable fact that Donald Trump came into office with the largest popular-vote deficit in the history of this country.

By the way Ronna, if you're reading this...it's either smokey eyes or intense lipstick during the day. You look like you're going to a nightclub.

Let me guess, he let her blather on, and included stoking unfounded fake news by using the prefix: "some are saying.....". Had no facts in front of him to call her out on the spot, and left the interview up in the air with regards to nailing down what was a fact and what was shear grandstanding and downright lies on her part.

Its like its all just a boring job to him and he just has to get through his list of questions and punch out, go home. I swear he is on some kind of tranquilizers as well. His senses are dulled and he seems to have no passion about politics at all, which is incredulous given his position. He was a pioneer on using the false equivalency tactic, (I take it to try and not lose RW viewers), where he'd let the Republican guest talk over the Democratic guest with false information without any intervention. Then to close the segment he'd hypothetically throw his hands up in the air and basically proclaim "well, who knows who is right and who is wrong about this?" even when it could be easily pointed out that one of the guests was bald face lying, and the other was speaking truth and reacting to false charges by the other.
