Redbone - Come And Get Your Love - The Midnight Special 1974







Happy Columbus Day!

Redbone is known and accredited in the Smithsonian as the first Native American rock/Cajun group to have a No. 1 single in the United States and internationally. And yes, they were repeatedly told that America "wasn't ready" for a Native American rock band but some people are just so badass they don't care if America is ready for things before doing it anyway. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Redbone_(band).

Heard the Witch Queen a lot of times in my 68 goat,if you have the stereo version the Marie,Marie part will switch from left to right. All these decades later I now have it on my Spotify list along with Swamp Witch by Stafford.
